Established in the Spring of 1998, The Weekday Cyclists are adventurous recreational cyclists. We welcome you to ride with us. Our rides are FREE, and there are no membership dues. We are safety conscious; we request that on our rides you wear a helmet, bring a bicycle frame pump, spare inner tubes for your tires, and two water bottles (preferably filled with water). We meet at 10:00 AM sharp on Tuesdays1 and Thursdays2 at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, New York City. Disclaimer: The Weekday Cyclists rides are not affiliated with any other bicycle club or group (although most of us are members of one or more bicycle club and some of us are also trained trip leaders). Remember, you are riding at your own risk. The coordinators and ride leaders are not responsible for any injuries or losses you might incur on these rides. 1Tuesday's rides are all year round 2Thursdays rides sometimes meet at a different location or earlier time. Be sure to check the email for the meeting time and place. Also, we usually do not meet on Thursdays in November, December, January, February, or March Temperatures below 30o or above 90o usually cancels a ride. 2Get on The Weekday Cyclists email list and receive advance notices of the Thursday ride destinations and other special bicycle related announcements.
